Lipstick Lowdow

When it comes to lipstick advice I'm your girl. Ive tried everything on the market from a dollar store cheap gloss to the $90 Christian Louboutin Velvet Matte. Every color under the sun has graced my lips at some point or other. In my opinion your face isn't compete without a bit of lippy, beat all you want, powder and prime, but that splash of color and personality on your mouth piece is where its at for me!

Choosing the perfect lip is no easy task. There are so many things to take into account, from how it feels, its staying power and its ability to transfer onto anyone and everything. Even just recently I found myself in a cocktail bar downtown thinking I was all that and a bag of chips after a quick secret make out session, with red pigment all over my face neck And white collar! There is this myth out there that red in particular can't be worn by everyone, which is ridiculous, anyone can wear any color its just finding the right tone. In the world of art and design there are nearly 500 named colors of red, I swear one of them is going to look great on you! Technology and radical inclusive thinking by some of the higher end cosmetic companies has changed the game when it comes to choosing the right color for you. As a redhead with pale alabaster skin finding a bold color to wear that doesn't wear me is sometimes work, so I have become fascinated by the new slew of lipsticks on the market that are released in a single color and perfect for any skin tone.

Like most of you I had my doubts. I don't know how it works, but its magic! the new "Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint" (or as we call it in my house the "Bad Girl RiRI) Is nothing short of life changing! As much as I enjoy a good old shake out to "Bitch better have my money!" or "Shine Bright Like A Diamond" Rihanna should totally give up her day job in the music charts and crown herself the queen of lippy!

I have tested Stunna on everyone I know, and it really does work! It does look great on everyone, and i have to say every women I had try it was super impressed by it, and held their head a little higher! So many of my clients have been afraid of a red shade for so long that they have become instant converts!

There are a few tips you are going to need though!

#1 - The wand makes for a perfectly smooth application! But you need to start at the cupid bow of your lip and then fill out otherwise you can easily over line the lip and look like a crazy person!

#2 Blot! transfer with Bad Girl RiRi is a bitch unless you blot after application. then you are good to go all day! Fenty say the pigment will last up to 12 hours, personally one application and a blot will last you a strong 20! I have gone to bed after a night out without taking my face off and woken up hungover hours later with a strong red lip. (not my best look!)

So there you go! Lipstick be changing lives one color at a time! - $24 a pop for this is super affordable, yes its more cash than a basic smack on, but its worth it! It will be the ONLY lippy you need and it will last much longer than the average stick. If you need further justification look at the SPW (Spend per wear!)
