The choker necklace over the past few months has exploded! The 90's revival has taken the fashion industry by storm, and took us all a little by surprise!
As a plus size women with a double chin, I struggle with the choker, it seems to make my neck look like a hippos ankle. You know me though, never defeated! I've tried all shapes and sizes, until I could make it happen ! (Here is where you need to go
So here is what you need to know if you are in the same boat.
#1 - Don't be going to tight, Hey I occasionally enjoy a little bit of choking in the right setting, but when it comes to necklaces...... sitting on the skin not digging in the skin is where it is at.

#2 - The wider the choker the better, you'd like that the smaller the choker the more neck you would appear to have but actually i have found the complete opposite. A larger choker puts your neck into proportion, giving you the illusion that the neck is longer and trimmer!
#3 - Don't be afraid of a lighter color or metallic. It will reflect light up onto your face, making you appear fresher, younger and tighter in the skin department! Like wearing highlighter without the effort of a strobe!!

#4 - Shoulder/Collar Bone detailing. although the choker is still very 'in' its getting tired, so any piece that has a little bit of something extra or different about it will freshen up you look and keep you looking fashion forward. I really love this necklace with fringe detailing that falls elegantly on the collarbone and high shoulders!
#5 - MOST IMPORTANT Buy from somewhere a little different, when you are buying something everyone owns, don't be shopping anywhere that everyone shops. stand out from the crowd own a look but in your own way, to stand out
All of these looks can be found at Eliya The Label.
